Passion leads to purpose.

 

Passion is defined as something that is highly important to you, you invest regular time and energy into and is part of your identity. 

 

But passion isn't something you find - it's something you develop. 

 

How do you develop passion? The first ingredient in passion is curiosity.  Passion exists at the intersection of things that you are curious about. 

 

It can be helpful to make a list of the things you are curious about, the things you wonder about, then look at where these things intersect, or overlap. 

 

Now, just as curiosity is the main ingredient in passion, passion is the main ingredient in purpose. So if you want to take this a step further and uncover purpose you can start by making a list of the challenges in the world that you care about and want to see solved, and ask yourself which ones of these can be served by your passion.
